Stay in the heart of Løkken, five minutes from The North Sea.

Rooms and apartments designed to make you feel at home.

Løkkenshus is housed in one of Løkken’s historic buildings. Built in 1828 and originally one of the town’s first warehouses, it later served as a pharmacy and post office from 1884, and as a school from 1922 until the 1960s. From the 1970s to the early 2000s, Viggo and Grethe Kristensen ran Løkkenshus as a hotel and art gallery.

In recent years, the building was used solely as the private home of Viggo and Grethe. After their passing, the next generation has taken over, and Løkkenshus is now being lovingly renovated and reopened, currently offering two rooms and two apartments for vacation rentals. The idea is to keep the spirit of art, hospitality, and eclectic style from Viggo and Grethe alive. All furniture and art pieces are a curated mix of items from their private home, vintage finds, and selected new things.

Welcome to Løkkenshus.
