Løkkenshus is housed in one of Løkken’s historic buildings. Originally one of the town’s first warehouses, it later served as a pharmacy and post office from 1884, and as a school until the 1960s. Since the 1970s, it has been a family-run hotel and art gallery.

In recent years, the building was used only as a private home, but with the next generation now taking over, Løkkenshus is being lovingly renovated and has begun reopening — currently offering two rooms and two apartments for vacation rentals.
